What makes a complete air ride kit?
Meet the five core parts, see what each one does, and avoid the missing-parts surprise.
A conventional full air-ride system combines vehicle-specific suspension, management, a compressor, an air tank and moisture management. Compatible plumbing, wiring and mounting hardware connect them. Air struts alone are not a complete system.
The suspension carries the car; the dampers control motion.
Management moves air and recalls supported pressure presets.
The compressor replenishes the tank; the tank stores reserve.

01. The suspension supports the car.
Air springs replace the conventional spring function in the selected application. The dampers control suspension movement. Some vehicles use combined air struts; others have separate rear springs and shocks. The hardware must match the chassis.
ONAIR Performance Air Suspension has 36-position manual damping adjustment, with camber plates and braided front lines where applicable. That adjustment is separate from the air controller. See the current suspension specification.

02. Management is how you control the air.
The manifold directs air into or out of the suspension. The handheld lets you operate it. Choose the control layout you need: ONAIR 2V adjusts the front and rear axles, while 4V adds individual-corner control.
Presets on these systems recall pressure targets, not a measured distance from the ground. Passengers or cargo can change the height produced by the same pressure. Compare 2V and 4V.

03. The compressor replaces the air you use.
After height adjustments reduce tank pressure, the compressor restores the reserve. Choose it using its output at working pressure, duty-cycle conditions, electrical requirements and the space available.
A dual setup can add recovery capacity, but also adds wiring, electrical demand, mounting and plumbing. It is a choice to match your use, not a requirement for every car. One compressor or two?

04. The tank keeps air ready.
The tank stores compressed air for adjustments. Gallons describe its internal volume; PSI describes pressure. A larger tank at the same pressure stores more air, but needs more air to refill.
Measure the tank, fittings and service space together. A tank that fits between the trim panels may still leave no room for its drain or connections. Understand tank sizes.

05. Moisture management looks after the system.
Compressed-air equipment collects water. Suitable water-management components help manage it, and the tank still needs its own drainage routine. Manual and automatic equipment have different installation and servicing requirements.

Before ordering, check the connecting pieces.
- The suspension is correct for the actual vehicle application.
- The management option has the controls and accessories you expect.
- Airline diameter, fitting sizes and thread types match.
- Compressor power wiring, relays and fuses follow the supplied diagrams.
- Mounts, drain access, safety components and installation labour are accounted for.
Read the selected variant's contents instead of assuming the photograph is a packing list. Management-only, suspension-only and complete-kit listings are different purchases. Include installation, alignment and checkout charges in the overall plan.

Can I buy just the air struts?
Yes, but they need a compatible air supply and control system to form a usable complete setup. Check what you already own before buying duplicates.
Does management include the tank and compressor?
Not automatically. ONAIR's current 2V and 4V management listings separate the tank, compressor and suspension. Package contents depend on the specific listing and option.
Do I need two compressors?
Not on every build. Match recovery, duty limits, tank volume, space and electrical capacity to the way you will use the car.
